Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Reporting (Kentucky DOC)

The Kentucky Department of Corrections PREA page states that, in compliance with PREA Standard 115.22, the department has zero tolerance toward all forms of sexual abuse and sexual harassment. To report any incident involving an offender housed in a Kentucky DOC facility, the page directs people to call the PREA Hotline toll free at 1-833-DOC-PREA (1-833-362-7732) and to have any information or evidence available for the assigned investigator; it warns that false accusations may be prosecuted. The page links the agency PREA policy CPP 14.7, Sexual Abuse Prevention and Intervention Programs, along with CPP 9.8 on searches and CPP 14.8 covering lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex offenders. Under PREA Standards 115.88 and 115.89 it publishes PREA annual reports and statistical reports from 2013 through 2025, plus facility audit reports grouped by audit cycle from 2014-2016 through 2026-2028.
