Revised 15 January 2025, this Hawaii DCR document sets out WCCC's rules for staying in contact. Visit requests are accepted only twice a year, during June and December, and the approved list is capped at 12 people, with new intakes given 30 days for immediate family to visit and to submit a permanent list. No more than five visitors are allowed per visiting period, switching visitors mid-visit is prohibited, and minors under 18 need an approved adult escort. Visits last one hour with one visit per day, jail population hours running 4 to 8 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday and prison population hours 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and Thursday plus 8 am to noon Saturday, with check-in 30 minutes before. There is no limit on correspondence but books, magazines and food cannot be mailed, and after the first 30 days only people on the visitation list may deposit money, by cashier's check payable to the centre showing the inmate's name and SID number.
