Inmate Personal Mail Rules and Addresses (Montana DOC)

Montana DOC page covering how to send letters, photos and books to people in state prisons. Personal mail for Montana State Prison, Montana Women's Prison, Pine Hills Correctional Facility and Riverside is scanned at an off-site facility and delivered digitally to inmate tablets, and must be addressed to the full facility name and state, the inmate's full name and AO number, PO Box 247, Phoenix, MD 21131. Senders must include their full name and address in the top left corner, and any personal mail sent directly to the facility is returned. Books and publications are handled separately: senders must be approved visitors and books must come directly from an approved vendor, listed as Hamilton Books, HarperCollins and Penguin Random House, shipped to the facility mailroom addresses given on the page.
